Jaipur, Rajasthan:

colourful Albert Hall
After my return from Bharatpur and the Keoladeo National Park, Jaipur was celebrating the Hindu festival of lights: Diwali.

The streets and major monuments were illuminated by millions of colourful lights for several days. I took one evening to walk through the city centre and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Even though most of Jaipur was taking free because of the holidays, I was busy at work for a few days before I used another weekend to meet a friend in Delhi and visit Agra – I will tell you about these trips in the next posts!
