taking pictures in the Amazon rainforest
My name is Matthias and I live in northern Germany. My passions are wildlife, travelling, and photography – hobbies which can easily be combined!
The photographs on this blog were taken with a Canon 60D (up to 2011 with a Canon 350D). I hold the copyrights, therefore please do not copy and distribute them without my knowledge. If you like to use any of my photographs or illustrations feel free to contact me – you will get a quick response, I promise!
PS: The maps I use on this blog are meant to show localities and DO NOT illustrate any political beliefs! They are merely based on the first available source.
Thank you for the follow! Your blog looks pretty cool and your life rather interesting 🙂
haha – thank you! 🙂 I cannot complain, I guess! I am curious to see your newest posts! 🙂
Mattias, you were kind enough to comment on my posts early on. I went dormant as I contemplated what I wanted to do. I cannot upload 360 tours here, so I started a more formal blog at http://bhimagery.com/blog/, where you can find one of my first tours listed.

Mattias, Thank you for liking my “Lensvy” post, however I had a specific question on a lens for landscape photography, what specs to look for. If you could provide some thoughts, I would be appreciative.
Thanks – Bob
Hey Bob – thanks for your comment! I am not an expert in photography and I don’t know what the best lens for landscape photography is! I have a Canon 60D with the 18-135 mm kit lens and I am quite happy with that! 🙂
You got some lovely shots.
thank you very much!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
I recognize pictures from Egypt; I was just there earlier this month and took similar pictures. Enjoyable stay!
Thank you for checking out my post! Egypt was a fantastic experience – I hope I can go back there some day!!
I saw today your reply to my request to use one of your hooded vulture photos in my book. Thanks a lot. If you can provide a high resolution picture I´ll appreciate very much
I need your full name because I was unable of getting it in your site.
Yours sincerely
José Nico
