Mexico 2018 (part I): San Luis Potosi

San Luis Potosi, Mexico:

In early February, I had the opportunity to attend a conference in San Luis Potosi in central Mexico.

During the conference, I also visited the city’s numerous sights. San Luis Potosi has around 750,000 inhabitants and was founded in 1592 due to the discovery of rich silver and gold deposits in the region. Over the following centuries, many impressive buildings were constructed throughout the charming city centre.

A mid-conference excursion enabled the participants to see something from the beautiful countryside – check out the coming post!
