Sri Krishna Temple in Udupi

My holiday ended in Aurangabad, but I traveled further to Manipal near Udupi in Karnataka to work at the local university for a couple of days.

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education is one of India’s finest private research institutes and beautifully located near the little town of Udupi. Apart from impressive research facilities, Udupi has a number of beautiful beaches and is especially known for its famous Sri Krishna Temple. The area has been a place of worship for more than 1000 years and still attracts thousands of pilgrims. I really enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere inside and outside the temple.
