Kye Monastery in the Spiti Valley
After four days of driving, we finally reached our destination: Kaza, the administrative capital of the Spiti Valley.

In the following days, we conducted field work in the mountains along the Spiti Valley. This enabled us to visit small villages and remote monasteries. We also had the chance to see some of the magnificent wildlife of the Spiti Valley, for example, groups of ibex and blue sheep. Unfortunately, the weather was rather bad with common rain showers and occasionally cold wind. In any case, we had a fantastic time in this spectacular region of the Indian Himalayas.

Beautiful scenery and I love seeing Ibex and blue sheep on the photos. It looks like they are posing:)
Thanks so much for your comment!! š The Himalayas are a really unbelievable place and spotting wildlife is always fantastic – especially with the impressive mountains as the background!
