The journey from Sarahan (~2300 m) to Nako (~3600 m) brought us through truly impressive mountain scenery. The 185 km long drive took ca. 8 hours to complete with the road following the Sutlej and Spiti rivers upstream.
I took the clips with a GoPro Hero 4 Black and did some simple editing using GoPro Studio.
Stunning . . although the section around 6minutes would have had me hiding on the floor of the car!
haha – thank you! The scenery is just fantastic!! Btw: the road is considered to be one of the world’s most dangerous… check out the next videos too! 🙂
yikes now I know that I wouldn’t even get in the car! Will though enjoy watching it vicariously 😀
haha – okay 😉 have a great day!! 🙂
I really enjoyed this gorgeous drive through the mountains, Matthias, and the music on the video was a relaxing accompaniment. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. I have never been through the mountains of India and wow, what an impressive vista. I assume from your tag lines that these are the Himalayas…lovely.
thanks a lot!! Great that you like it!! 🙂 The journey was definitely fantastic – everyone should go there at least once! 😉
