Giant’s Playground, Namibia:
The Giant’s Playground lies just adjacent to the Quiver Tree Forest and close to the small town of Keetmanshoop.
After our visit to the Quiver Tree Forest, we took a walk through the Giant’s Playground. Weathering of the rocky terrain led to a peculiar arrangement of basalt blocks. Some seem to have been artificially stacked or balanced above each other – the work of giants?!
From Keetmanshoop we followed the main road north. Traversing through much of Namibia, we finally reached the Waterberg National Park.
great photos – particularly like the little lizard!
thank you so much for checking it out and commenting!! 🙂 makes me happy that you like it!
